Senior tourism entrepreneur Ambica Shrestha no more

Kathmandu / July 18: Senior tourism entrepreneur Ambica Shrestha has passed away today. She was 92.
Chairperson of Dwarika’s Hotel and Resort, Shrestha died while under treatment at the Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur, according to the family sources.She was being treated for pneumonia since the last two months. Shrestha had survived from cancer four years back.
Active in the hotel business for the last 65 years, Shrestha had been fully looking after the management of Dwarika’s Hotel and Resort since 1991.She is survived by two daughters.The Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) has expressed deep sorrow over Shrestha’s demise and recalled her contribution to the promotion of tourism industry in Nepal.
