Nepal govt team arriving in Portugal to collect applications for e-passport

Lisbon / July 22: A joint squad from the Department of Passport, Kathmandu, and the Nepali Embassy in France is arriving here for the convenience of those Nepalis who are in trouble due to passport-related issues.

The team is scheduled to collect e-passport applications through a mobile camp in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.

According to the Nepali Embassy in Paris, the service to be coordinated and facilitated by the Honorary Consulate of Nepal in Lisbon, Portugal, will be available on August 2-11.

Nepal’s Ambassador for France, Sudhir Bhattarai, said the Department’s Director Moti Bahadur Shrees will lead the three-member team.

The services will be for those expired passports, passports with less than one year validity, lost ones, and new passports for the Nepalis born in Portugal, it is said. RSS
