Govt forms committee to probe Israel employment fraud

Kathmandu / Aug 10: The Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security has established a probe committee in response to rising concerns over the selection process for Nepali migrant laborers heading to Israel.

This action follows public doubts regarding the authenticity of documents submitted during the selection process.

Israel is preparing to receive Nepali migrant workers for the caregiver sector, and the ministry’s committee will ensure that the selection process is both reliable and transparent.

According to a press statement by the ministry, the five-member committee, led by Under Secretary Meghnath Rimal, will focus on verifying the authenticity of the submitted documents.
