NC-UML govt formed to bail out nation from economic crisis: Minister Gurung

Lamjung / Sept 21: Deputy General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party (UML) and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung said the Nepali Congress-CPN (UML) government was formed to bail out the country from economic crisis.

In his address to the UML Lamjung district committee meeting held in Lamjung-Besishahar Municipality-7 today, he said that the two major parties initiated to form the government with the erstwhile government failing to lead the country to the path of prosperity.

Communications Minister Gurung claimed that the incumbent government led by NC-UML will amend the constitution. Noting there is a constitutional provision allowing revision of the constitution 10 years after its promulgation. He further clarified that the constitution will be revised on national consensus with the basic features of the law of the land remaining as it was. (RSS
