“We came to Pokhara 10 years ago then now we arrived. At a time of festival, we are here to manage money. Let’s see how we get help.” Mukhiya Shahi said.

He added that as there is a need for 7-8 he-goats and other expenditures at least Rs 300,000 to Rs 400,000 are needed to celebrate the festival.

Rautes are the endangered Indigenous of Nepal. They said that Rautes have only a rented house but not a house. But they have 46 houses in Surkhet. There are 200 Rautes.

Rautes received RS 21,000 from Pokhara Metropolitan City, Rs 15,000 from the Finance Ministry, Rs 7,000 from the Social Development Ministry and other people have also helped them.

The collected money will be submitted to Mahamukhiya and will be divided equally among everyone, said Mukhiya Shahi.
