Prime Minister Karki expresses gratitude to UML for its support for successful elections

Kathmandu / March 17: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has thanked the CPN (UML) for its support in conducting the March 5 HoR elections peacefully.
Prime Minister Karki invited the UML leadership to Baluwatar today to express her gratitude. According to the Prime Minister’s personal secretariat, UML leaders Ishwor Pokharel, Pradeep Gyawali and Mahesh Bartaula attended the meeting.
“Election was the only option to peacefully resolve this difficult situation and I would like to thank you for the supportive role you played and for your active participation in the elections”, she said. The Prime Minister also consoled the UML leadership by saying that they should not be distracted by the one-time mandate as there will be victories and defeats in the elections.
On the occasion, the UML leaders also congratulated Prime Minister Karki and the government led by her for conducting the election peacefully. They also thanked her for providing leadership in difficult times and providing a universally acceptable, peaceful and democratic outcome.
They praised the government for the impartiality of the administration in the recent election and also shared their experience that this year’s election campaigning was healthier, peaceful and less expensive than the previous ones. RSS
