Dilli Raj Acharya appointed as Cooperatives Management Committee chair

Kathmandu / April 21: The government has appointed Dilli Raj Acharya as the chairman of the Cooperatives Management Committee to oversee the crisis-hit sector.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held in Singha Durbar on Tuesday decided to appoint Acharya as the chair. Acharya is from Pyuthan.
Similarly, Nawaraj Simkhada of Dhading and Roshan Bahadur Shakya of Lalitpur have been appointed as members of the Committee, said Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Dr Bikram Timilsina.
Similarly, the meeting also approved the tabling of the Bill to amend Nepal Special Service Act, 2042 to the Federal Parliament.
The other bills receiving approval by the meeting includes the Bill to amend House of Representatives Election Act, 2074 and the bill to amend Voter List Act, 2073.
