FinMin Wagle and FM Khanal hold meeting with Trump’s Special Envoy Gor

Kathmandu / May 1: Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle held talks with Sergio Gor, US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for South and Central Asia.

The meeting took place at the Ministry of Finance at around 3:30 PM on Friday and lasted nearly 20 minutes.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed various issues related to economic partnership and development assistance between Nepal and the US.

US special envoy calls on Foreign Minister Khanal

Special Envoy of the US to South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, at the ministry today.

During the call on, discussions were held on further strengthening Nepal-US relations, with an emphasis on promoting investment and trade, stated the Foreign Ministry in its social site.

The two held constructive and productive discussions on deepening bilateral cooperation across several promising domains, with particular emphasis on expanding trade and advancing initiatives under the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), stated the US embassy in its social site.
