President Paudel and PM Shah observes Bhoto Jatra

Kathmandu / June 20: President Ramchandra Paudel on Saturday has observed the Bhotojatra festival, a ritualistic festival dedicated to the Rato Machchhindranath, the deity of rain and bountiful harvest.
The President attended the Bhotojatra festival at Jawalakhel today and observed the ritual of displaying the Bhoto (the jewel-studded mythical vest believed to belong to the deity).
Along with the Presient, Vice-President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Balendra Shah, Chief Justice Dr Manoj Sharma and Chairperson of the National Assembly Narayan Prasad Dahal attended the festival.
Home Minister Sudhan Gurung together with others high ranking officials of the government of Nepal attended the festival.
