Prime Minister Balen Shah and RSP Chair Lamichhane Hold Four-Hour Meeting

Kathmandu / July 12: Prime Minister Balen Shah held a meeting lasting more than four hours with Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane on Saturday.
Prime Minister Shah visited Lamichhane’s residence in Budhanilkantha for the meeting. He arrived at around 11:15 a.m. and left at approximately 3:15 p.m., according to sources.
“The two leaders discussed contemporary political issues,” a source said.
The discussions reportedly covered a range of topics, including resolving the issue of landless squatters, the nomination of party office bearers, and other organizational matters.
Sources also said the two leaders discussed the appointment of 11 remaining party office bearers and 51 central committee members, whose nominations are pending following the RSP’s first national convention held recently in Chitwan.
It has previously been agreed that Prime Minister Balen Shah will be nominated as the Senior Leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, according to party sources.
