Govt forms team to hold talks with victims of loan shark

Kathmandu / July 16: The government has formed a talks team to hold talks for solving problems of the people affected by loan shark.
The meeting of the Council of Minister held today made a decision to this effect, according to Sasmit Pokharel, government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports.
Headed by Pushkar Sapkota, secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the panel comprises of joint secretaries from Finance Ministry, Home Ministry, Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration.
The Cabinet also decided to approve the NRB to mint coins of Rs 1 and 2 with design.
Similarly, the Cabinet decided to accept grant assistance of USD 1.81 million to be provided by the South Korean government.
The Council of Ministers also decided to endorse provision related to the management of employees on service contract and also the organizational structure and vacancy in different ministries.
