Deepmala Dhakal Crowned Miss Nepal 2026
Kathmandu / Aug. 1: Deepmala Dhakal has been crowned Miss Nepal 2026 at the grand finale held at The Plaza Pulchowk. She was awarded the title of Miss Nepal World 2026.
At the same event, Arya Nishant was crowned Miss Nepal International 2026, while Kashish Subba won the title of Miss Nepal Cosmo 2026. Yolinda Lindqvist served as one of the judges during the competition. The pageant was organized by The Hidden Treasure.
Dhakal is also the winner of Miss Nepal Hong Kong International 2026. Professionally, she works as an Investment Strategist at BlackRock, one of the world’s leading investment management firms.
Beyond her professional career, Dhakal is a black belt in Taekwondo, a runway model, an international event host, and a marathon runner.
She also made history as the youngest-ever elected member of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA).
In addition, Dhakal serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal Cancer Hospital. She has said that, through the Miss World platform, she aims to take her campaign to raise awareness about cancer to the global stage.
Dhakal also comes from a family with a pageant legacy. Her mother participated in the inaugural Miss Nepal competition held in 1994.
