Help desk set up at court; 39 types of services free

myagdi_districtMyagdi / January 15: A citizen help desk has been established at the Myagdi District Court. The help desk enabled with separate human resource and chamber has been in place to ensure easy and effective access of service recipients to justice.

Likewise, an arrangement has been made for the service-recipients to freely receive different 39 types of services from the district.

Among 39 free of cost services include application drafting and information letter, said registrar Gokarna Pant.

Similarly, the court has come up with the plan to provide various services such as providing photocopy on demand, fixing hearing date and mediation service to the people within an hour.

According to Pant, a separate human resource has been assigned to look after citizen help desk and deliver services in an hour without cost.

With the help desk in place, service recipients would be relieved of additional financial burden and hassles to receive service which is expected to increase people’s access to justice, said district judge Ram Prasad Sharma.

Earlier, child-friendly bench and digital citizen charter have been already in operation in Myagdi district court. RSS
