Special musical night to collect funds for quake-affected children

Rupandehi SocietyKathmandu / April 5: The Rupandehi Social Network Australia is to host a special musical programme to mark the Nepali New Year 2073 in the Australian city of Sydney. The event is being organised to collect funds for the orphan and disabled children in the districts affected by the April 25 earthquake in Nepal.

Funds collected from the event will be mobilized for education and health of the children rendered orphan and disabled by the quake in Nepal, President of the Network Raj Khanal said.

The ‘New Year Musical Night 2073’ to be held in Campsie of Sydney will feature presentations by singers and artists including Yam Baral, Sanup Poudel, Akshyanchya Baral and Sujata Upadhyay, according to the organizers.

Founded in 2015, the RSNA is a formal community of people from Rupandehi in Australia. Santosh Kumar KC is the Vice-chair, Krishna Gaire the General Secretary and Roshan Koirala the Treasurer of the network’s executive committee. RSS
