Collection of people’s feedbacks on five bills continues

ParliamentNepalgunj / June 6: The collection of suggestion and advice from citizens on five bills for supplanting the Muluki Ain (Civil Code) is continuing.

The amendment and integration of the existing criminal law related bill 2071, crime and punishment determination and implementation related bill 2071, amendment and integration of law on crime cases’ working procedures related bill 2071, amendment and integration of civil law related bill 2071 and amendment and integration of law on working procedures of civil cases related bill 2071 were tabled at the Legislature-Parliament.

The Parliamentary Legislation Committee has organized programmes at 16 places of the country with appellate courts to draw suggestions from the citizens.

Committee member and lawmaker, Krishna Bhakta Pokharel, said suggestions were drawn through interactive programmes in Dhankuta, Biratnagar, Ilam, Rajbiraj, Janakpur, Hetauda, Lalitpur, Baglung, Pokhara, Butwal and Nepalgunj till date.

Pokharel added that such programmes will be held in Mahendranagar, Jumla, Surkhet, Dang and Dipayal to draw further suggestions. RSS
