National cricket team defeats CCC

Kathmandu / July 16: The national cricket team defeated the Club Cricket Conference (CCC) by four wickets in London on Friday. With this, Nepal won three matches so far.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Nepali team won the practice match against home team Indian Gymkhana Cricket Club by 20 runs. It also defeated the amateur Free Foresters Cricket Club by a wide margin of 129 runs.

Winning the toss, the CCC set 226 runs target for the Nepali team in the stipulated 50 overs at the loss of seven wickets.

Chasing the target, the Nepali team achieved the target in 46.1 overs at the loss of six wickets. In the match, Nepali team Captain Paras Khadka made the highest 67 runs while Anial Mandal 43.

Likewise, Vice Capitan Gyanendra Malla contributed 36 runs followed by Sharad Bheswakar with 19. Also, Raju Rijal and Raju Pulami finished undefeated with 17 and 16 runs respectively. Likewise, Binod Bhandari contributed six runs while Sagar Pun four. RSS
