NRA insists relief aid for genuine quake-survivors

Nepal Reconstruction AuthorityNawalparasi / Dec 21: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has held deliberations with the stakeholders in Nawalparasi today to ensure distribution of the relief aid to genuine quake-survivors.

The government is likely to dole out second installment of relief aid of the total Rs 200,000 for each quake-hit survivor’s household for the reconstruction of the quake-damaged houses.

Around 1,000 quake-hit persons are recorded in Nawalparasi district.

During the meeting with the stakeholders, NRA CEO Sushil Gyawali urged the concerned sides to ensure transparency while distributing relief aid. He also pressed for distribution of aid to genuine quake-survivors.

The meeting was attended by representatives of political parties, government agencies, media persons and civil societies. RSS
