Guinness Beer Castle on the market in time for St. Paddy’s
March 18: St. Patrick’s Day revelers looking to do more than drink on the Irish holiday might want to consider buying some real estate — the Guinness Beer Castle is for sale.
Sotheby’s Realty announced the 18th century Guinness Beer Castle, also known as Luggala, is on the market with an asking price of $30.07 million.
The home, located near Dublin, was originally built as a hunting lodge and its 19,099 square feet were designed to resemble a miniature castle.
The house became famous as the home of Guinness beer heiress Oonagh, Lady Oranmore and Browne, who died in 1995.
Sotheby’s lists the house as boasting 27 bedrooms, 18 full bathrooms, a library, a guest house, and seven smaller lodges. Upi.com
