Women’s Football Day marked

ANFAKathmandu / Mar 8: All Nepal Football Association observed the 2018 AFC Women’s Football Day by hosting various programmes at the ANFA Complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur on Thursday.

Over 150 students from various schools of Kathmandu valley took part in football drills conducted by senior coaches of the ANFA as well as in entertainment programmes.

Similarly, on the same occasion, a 20-minute friendly football match between the players of National Women’s Team was also organised.

Meanwhile, ANFA felicitated Nepali Women’s Team captain Anu Lama with Rs 25,000. Lama holds the record of scoring most international goals (35) for Nepal.

On this day, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) calls its member nations to mark Women’s Football Day.
