Kathmandu Youth Conclave to be organized felicitating Paras Khadka

Kathmandu / Mar 17: With an aim of bringing together over 3,000 youths from diverse educational background, communities and geographical locations to a common symposium, different Kathmandu-based colleges are organizing KATHMANDU YOUTH CONCLAVE (KYC) 2019 on Tuesday.

In a press meet organized today in Kathmandu, the organizers announced to felicitate successful captain of Nepali national cricket team, Paras Khadka with a sum of one lakh Nepali rupees. The program is to be organized jointly by Universal College, New Summit College, Apollo International College, Kathmandu Model College and Himalayan College of Engineering on Tuesday, 19 March 2019 at Nepal Academy, Kathmandu. The program is set to become the largest congregation of youths and leadership forum. It serves an ideal platform for connecting youths and empowering them with the required leadership, managerial and industrial skills.

Youth leader, Yogesh Bhattarai, will be the Chief Guest of the program and the program will be addressed by Anil Kesary Shah (CEO, Nabil Bank), Asgar Ali (IT Consultant to PM of Nepal), Paras Khadka, Sisan Baniya (popular YouTuber), Shrinkhala Khatiwada (Miss Nepal 2018 winner and top-12 in Miss World 2018, including winner of other awards), Saurabh Jyoti (Director, Jyoti Group of Companies and Chairman, Syakar Trading Company) and comedian Sandip Chhetri. Alongside, the program will feature musical performances by Swopna Suman, food stalls, game zones and other student performances.

The major objectives of the program include to help students to find the right career path, to encourage them towards social engagement and outreach, to relay insights on life goals from successful youth individuals and to increase exposure for the students towards the industrial needs.
