425 new COVID-19 cases detected in last 24 hours, tally hits 5,760
Kathmandu / June 14: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 425 new cases of COVID-19 today.
As many as people, 375 including males and 50 females were detected with virus infection in the last 24 hours, informed Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press brief today.
The new cases of virus infection were detected in Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa, Saptari, Birgunj, Parsa, Bara, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Nawalparasi (East), Bajhang, Dadeldhura, Doti, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Bardiya, Banke, Rukum (West), Pyuthan, Dang, Dhanusa, Ramechhap, Gulmi, Nawalparasi (West), Rupandehi, Palpa, Surkhet, Dailekh, Sindhuli and Dhading.
Meanwhile, 61 COVID-19 patients including six females and 55 males from Lalitpur, Rautahat, Birgunj, Dhran, Banke, Doti, Darchula and Dang have been discharged from hospital after recovering from the virus in the last 24 hours.
With this, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 5,760, including 974 cases of recovery and 19 death cases.
