About us

Nepalekhabar.com is the first news portal of Nepal which always attempts to post news and information from a positive angel. As the slogan of the portal (Striving for Positive Change) suggests, we are not online for providing breaking news or negative stories, instead we aim to give a positive angle of every story. Rather than just stating the problems, we try to bridge the information gap and try to suggest appropriate solutions. We want to rise above from ‘who said what journalism’ and wish to play the role of a true watchdog of the society and opinion builders.

Poverty, exclusion and lack of opportunities are some of the problems faced by the citizens of our country. We believe that the Media, which is considered the fourth organ of the state, could play an important role and critical in this regard. Our portal will be the platform for all people (mostly Nepalese) scattered across the globe for sharing their positive thoughts and leading a life towards positivity. It will not portray negative things as positive but it will try to discover positive things of incidents and of the society at large. We are a group of journalists involved in this sector for more than a decade. We have started this portal with the feeling that positive contribution is very essential in the country.

We always seek your suggestion to improve ourselves and for the positive change in the society, so, please send us your ideas and feedback.
