Prime Minister vows not let the trust of people go out of hand

Oli after nominationBhadrapur / October 21: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday said that he would not let the trust held by the Nepali people on him to go out of hand.

Addressing a felicitations and greetings exchange programme held by CPN (UML) District Working Committee, Jhapa at Birtamod, PM Oli pledged to rid the country of twine bridges and the burden of crippling power outages in the coming two years. He further stressed that all the Nepal people will have a home within the next two years.

PM Oli, who is also the CPN (UML) Chairman, made an announcement of eradicating corruption in the country in two years’ time and pledged to work in securing a home for every single Nepali. Everyone must do their bidding from their respective sectors so that the dreams held by the martyrs can be realized, PM Oli said.

With an emphatic declaration to make the agricultural sector modern and commercial, PM Oli resolved to create investment friendly environment with establishment of industries. The new constitution was promulgated through adherence to democratic practice and process, PM Oli stressed that success would not be achieved without the support of the people and cadres.

On the occasion, CPN (UML) General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel said the new constitution has held the heads of all Nepali people high and made them proud. He added that CPN (UML) would do everything it can for success of the incumbent government in this difficult time while urging the PM to work for the interest of the country and people fearlessly.

Nepali Congress General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula expressed confidence the newly promulgated Nepal’s constitution would help herald an era of lasting peace and prosperity in the country. He added that his party would lend support to the government on basis of merit and fault.

CPN (ML) General Secretary CP Mainali alleged that the Madhes agitation has hurt country and people’s sovereignty while making their lives difficult. He urged the Madhes-centric parties to return to negotiations immediately.
