Free health checkups of 350 children

parbat_districtParbat / December 4: Free health camps have been conducted in two remote VDCs in Parbat district by giving providing direct benefit to 350 children.

Good Neighbour Service Association Nepal launched separate health camps in Bhuktangle and Bhangara VDCs after the children started to develop symptoms of different diseases due to cold.

The Association said that altogether 160 children benefitted in Bhuktangle while a total of 155 children took the services in Bhangara. The students were given dental services besides their general health checkups.

It is said that the organisation is working for further treatment of some children who were diagnosed as having poor health condition.

Administrative Officer of the organisation, Bishnu Ojha, said that the plans are afoot to run such health camps in Pang, Limithana, Kyang and Deurali VDCs in the district. RSS
