Party headquarters should be powerful: Dahal

Kathmandu, June 16/ Nepal Communist Party (NCP)’s Co-chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal opined that the party headquarters should be made powerful not the multiple power centres.

Addressing a joint meeting of the Press Chautari and Press Centre Nepal in Kathmandu on Friday, former Prime Minister Dahal said that the communism collapsed in the Eastern Europe and then USSR due to the trend of being master once the communist reached the power, he suggested that the communists should be linked to the people with critical mind.

On the same occasion, Dahal also said that his party was working to prepare a base for socialism via prosperity along with social justice after the unification of the parties. Likewise, Dahal also stated that the party unification had given international vibes and it should be internalised firmly to prepare a new base for socialism.
