Sajha Yatayat

Lalitpur, June 28/ Sajha Yatayat is to add 24 buses to expand its service which is presently available in Kathmandu Valley and some routes outside the valley as well.

According to Sajha’s executive officer, Mahendra Raj Pandey, the cooperative public organisation is introducing four deluxe buses and 20 city motor vehicles to expand its services. The company had signed an agreement for the purchase of new vehicles some months ago. Four buses are likely to arrive here within a week.

Remaining vehicles are expected to enter the city in near future. Demand for Sajha services is reportedly high inside and outside the valley.

Sajha operates one bus on Kathmandu-Baglung route daily and demand for expanding its long route services is increasing by the day. “We are struggling to expand services as demanded,” said Pandey.

First introduced in 2018 BS, Sajha Yatayat has earned good reputation for its accessible services inside and outside the valley in a short period since it resumed its services following a two-decade closure.RSS
