Nepal defeats Maldives by 4 goals in SAFF U15 Championship

SAFF ChampionshipKathmandu / Oct. 25: Nepal’s U15 football team defeated Maldives by four goals in its first match at the SAFF U15 Championship. The game was held at ANFA Complex, Satdobato.

Jaan Limbu, Namas Thapa Magar, Sashank Bohora and Dipesh Rai scored a goal each in 28, 38, 63 and 70 minutes to give Nepal the lead. Nepal will play against Bangladesh on Saturday. Six countries, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bhutan, Maldives and Bangladesh are participating in the championship.

In another match between India and Pakistan, Pakistan defeated India by 2-1.
