Gold price set a new record

Kathmandu / August 5: The price of gold continued to set a new record in the domestic market on Monday.

The price of the yellow metal has increased by Rs 1500 and reached Rs 67,800 per tola, to set record an all-time high, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA).

On Sunday, the price of gold had reached to Rs 66,300 increased by Rs 500.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 20 and has reached Rs 795 per tola.

As per the FENEGOSIDA, as American Federal Reserve has lowered the interest rate for the first time in years, the price in the international market has increased. As a result, the domestic market has witnessed a sharp rise in the gold price.
