Minister vows to set up 100-bed isolation centers in Taplejung

Taplejung / Nov 6: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai has committed to setting up isolation centers with 100-bed capacity in Taplejung district.

Of the vowed infrastructures, Phungling Municipality will have an isolation center with 50 beds and the rural municipalities will have the isolation centres with remaining 50 beds.

Minister Bhattarai expressed his commitment during a discussion with the chiefs of the government offices at Phungling on Friday. On the occasion, he also suggested that the budget for the isolation centres be used from parliament infrastructures development fund. The chiefs of the government offices in the district headquarters were asked to carry out their responsibilities effectively.

“People should be provided service in a prompt and convenient manner,” the minister told the chiefs of the government offices.RSS
