Train service from Janakpur to Bhangha temporarily halted due to Bibah Panchami passenger overload

Kathmandu / Dec 18: The Janakpur-Jayanagar railway service is set to operate without a fixed schedule for two days, catering to devotees attending the ‘Sitaram’ wedding Panchami Mela.

The railway company has also temporarily halted train services from Janakpur to Bhangha until Monday evening.

Niranjan Jha, the general manager of the company, issued a notice on Sunday, informing that the train service on the Bhangha section has been suspended. The notice states, “..the train service from Bhangha to Janakpur has been suspended from the morning of 2080/09/02. It is also informed that all the concerned parties including the regular train service operation in Janakpur Bhangha section from the evening of 2080/09/03.”

The train service from Bhangha to Jayanagar operates twice in the afternoon, and round trips from Janakpur occur four times, maintaining regular operations.
