Land-related problem resolution is on the government’s top priority: Minister Rawal

Sudurpaschim / Aug 22: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration, Pratibha Rawal, has called for the support of the local level governments to resolving the land-related problem, currently on the government’s top priority.
At a program organized in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City of Kailali today, she said that the government is fully prepared to provide the necessary facilitation and coordination for the distribution of land titles to unorganized settlers and landless families. She urged the Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City to work on land-related problem resolution as well as other development activities.
Earlier, at a meeting of the Land Problem Resolution Committee in Kailali, she shared that the government is working to distribute land titles within 600 days and urged the committee to facilitate the problem resolution in all municipalities of the district. The government is ready to provide the necessary resources and human resources for the land problem resolution work.
Committee chairperson and Chief District Officer Hiralal Regmi shared that discussions were held regarding preparations to distribute land ownership certificates soon in Kailali. RSS
