Applications open for Model Hunt Nepal 2016

Kathmandu / May 28: If you are between 16 and 28 years of age and want to build a career in modeling, then ‘Model Hunt Nepal 2016’ could be your call.

After successfully organizing the first edition of the competition last year, organizer Next Models Nepal has called for applications from interested youth for the second season of Model Hunt Nepal.

The first audition of the competition will be held in Kathmandu on June 11. The auditions will then head to Pokhara, Narayanghat, Butwal, Dharan, Birtamod and finally conclude in the Capital.

Candidates selected from the first round of audition will be given a one-month long training for the final competition.

“Experts in respective fields will conduct training sessions in areas covering ramp walk, personality development, communication skills, photo session, stage performance, and public speaking,” informed Yatana Pandey, managing director of Next Models Nepal.

President of Next Models Nepal, Ravi Dhamala said, “The purpose of Model Hunt Nepal is to encourage and promote the talent of Nepali youth while also giving them the platform and opportunity to help them become models of international standard.”

Selected candidates of the model hunt will showcase the designs of German fashion designer Stella Maris Hafele on stage. According to the organizers, besides title winners, participants will also be given away awards in six different sub-titles.
