’10 Minute Drama’ starts nationwide
Kathmandu / May 31: The five-day second edition of ’10 Minute Drama’ commenced at the Sarwanam theatre in Kalikasthan of the capital city on Monday.
The dramas with time limit are being held for artists who have not been fortunate enough to be able to come to limelight with their acting skill set despite their passion for acting.
Senior actor, Harihar Sharma, inaugurated the drama exhibition, and expressed belief that staging such dramas would help engender the birth of new actors.
On the first day, dramas namely ‘Falano’, ‘Mokshya’, ‘Parichaya’, ‘Khai K Khai K’, ‘Bidambana’ and ‘Aba Bechinna’ were staged.
For the five days actors will stage at least 39 dramas in various districts of the country including the Kathmandu Valley, programme coordinator, Raj Shah said.
The theatre decided to stage 39 dramas due to the success of the first edition. All the dramas to be staged will be provided 10 minutes. The dramas that can be staged individually or with a group should not exceed the the time limit of 10 minutes. RSS
