Special health service in operation

JumlaJumla / November 22: A special health service has been introduced in Jumla district for upgrading the health condition of the people living here.

The Karnali Health Science Academy will run the health programme in the rural district which has remained in the backburner for a long time.

Nepal Academy of Medical Science (NAMS), Bir Hospital has sent seven specialist doctors to the district to run the programme, said Hospital’s Director Dr Javed Ahmad.

He said specialist doctors for women’s diseases, children’s diseases, anaesthesia and surgery among other medical conditions left for Jumla on Wednesday. The patients in the district can now avail of services from specialist doctors. RSS
