BP Chintan Pratisthan to run free health camp in quake-hit districts

BP KoiralaKathmandu / December 9: The BP Chintan Pratisthan is once again going to run free health camp at different places of the earthquake-hit districts with an objective of protecting the quake survivors living at temporary shelters from cold-related diseases.

The Pratisthan is to initiate the second-phase health camp from Aginchowk VDC in Dhading district from December 18-19 with the financial and technical support of Nepal Medical Association, Health Net Initiative.

Central member of the Pratisthan and camp coordinator Dhruba Pandey told the National News Agency (RSS) that lab-test of stool, urine, blood, cough, among others would be carried out on the site and doctors would provide medicines free of cost to the patients.

The Pratisthan has a target to run the free-health camp at 14 worst- hit districts including Gorkha, Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot and Rasuwa after Dhading. The Pratisthan had conducted Mechi-Mahakali health camp last year. RSS
