UN Under-Secretary General Feltman in Kathmandu

Kathmandu / January 7: UN Under-Secretary General Jeffrey Feltman arrived Kathmandu this night. He is here to garner knowledge on political developments after the promulgation of the new constitution.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that during his stay, he will hold separate meetings with President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Deputy Prime Minister Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar and heads of various political parties.

Durable peace and development, post-earthquake reconstruction, UN assistance on Nepal’s development would be the issues Feltman is to discuss during the meetings.

He was received at Tribhuvan International Airport by Chief of the UN Division at Foreign Ministry, Joint Secretary Tara Prasad Pokhrel, and high level officials of the UN in Nepal. RSS
