Awards and honour to students and entrepreneur with disabilities

Baglung / January 8: An entrepreneur and students living with disabilities were honoured in Baglung.

The Praveen Khadka Memorial Trust, Baglung on Thursday awarded four students and honoured a furniture entrepreneur amid the eighth award distribution ceremony.

Visually-impaired entrepreneur Prem Bahadur Khatry of Tityang VDC of the district was presented a cash prize of Rs 3,000 along with a letter of appreciation.

Other student awardees are Deepak Sunar from Baglung Special Child Room, Laxmi Sarki of Kalika Kanyamandir Secondary School, Bipana GC of Dhawalagiri Residential Secondary School and Deepak Adhikari of Janata Dhan Higher Secondary School. Each of the awardees received Rs 3,000 in cash and letter of appreciation, said Trust Chairperson Kaji Roshan.

The Trust annually awards differently able students and honours an inspiring personality.

On the occasion, senior advocate Padmanath Sharma gave away the awards and honour.

The Trust was instituted in memory of Praveen Khadka, a local of Baglung Bazaar, by his mother Dharma Kumari Khadka and younger brother in 2064 BS. RSS
