Bangabandhu gold cup semi-finals in Bangladesh from tomorrow

BangbandhuKathmandu / January 17: The Bangabandhu Gold Cup, 2016 semi-finals will kick off from tomorrow in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In the first semi-final, the host Bangladesh will face Bahrain at the Dhaka-based Bangabandhu National Stadium at 5:45 pm (Nepali time) on Monday. Likewise, Nepal, in the second round, will take on Maldives on Tuesday, in the second semi-final.

Bangladesh made it to the semi finals after becoming winner of the Group A, while Bahrain is first runner-up of Group B. Likewise, Nepal entered semi finals after becoming runner-up of the Group A and Maldives is winner of Group B.

In the group stage, Nepal had managed to secure a win 1-0 over Sri Lanka, while it ended with two draws over Bangladesh and Malaysia. RSS
