Parbat school gets computers

computersPhalebas / January 18: The International Inner Wheel, District-350 has provided computers to a school in Parbat district.

The District-350 of the International Inner Wheel, a leading service voluntary organisation of women in the world, has provided six computers to the Bal Mandir Primary School based in Kushma, Parbat.

Chairman of the International Inner Wheel, District-350 Kamal Prava Kharel handed over the computers to the school administration at an event on Saturday. This is the first phase of support for the part of a preparation of an e-library in the school with collaboration from the Rotary Club of Parbat, Inner Wheel and NESDO Nepal.

Likewise, the Inner Wheel honoured entrepreneur Bishnu Kumari Sharma for her contributions to create self-employment by offering skill generating trainings to hundreds of women in the district.

On the occasion, lawmaker Kalpana Chapagain opined that women’s status would not change until they themselves where robust despite sufficient rights from the state and laws. RSS
