Supply of petro products to become normal in a week

Oil Storage PointKathmandu / Jan 22: The Spokesperson of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has claimed to make the supply of petroleum products accessible within a week in the capital city.

At an interaction programme here Friday, NOC Spokesperson Mukunda Prasad Ghimire said that the NOC depots across the country are directed to send the petroleum products to the capital. He added that the certain amount of fuels would be distributed from all refuelling stores in an accessible manner once the fuels arrive in the town.

He, however, said that supply of LP gas would not be regular until India increases the supply of LP gas and said that cylinder of 7.1 kilograms would be distributed until the new decision.

Likewise, Chairman of Gas Industry Association Nepal Shiva Prasad Ghimire said that cost would be higher for the consumers while distributing half-filled cylinders and promised to supply the full cylinder within two-three days if support from the government was received to that end. RSS
