Australian ambassador provides medical and communications equipment

Himalayan Rescue AssociationKathmandu / January 22: Australian ambassador to Nepal Glenn White today handed the medical and communications equipments to the Himalayan Rescue Association.

It is learnt that the equipments purchased with the financial support of the Australian embassy would be provided to Manang Health Post and Pheriche Health Post.

Ambassador White while providing the equipments expressed his confidence that the equipments would be useful for the delivery of the services.

The association chair DB Koirala said that the association has been providing the health services to the tourists and porters travelling in high altitude areas by organizing various health camps for a long time.

The equipments worth about six million rupees were provided. RSS
