Cloth Bank in Gulmi

Gulmi / January 27: A cloth bank has been set up in Gulmi for those who could not afford for clothes. The initiative was taken to provide support to the people who have been victimized in natural disasters in different times and are surviving in a poor state of life.

The clothes collected in the bank will be distributed to helpless people. Chief District Officer Pradeep Raj Kandel took the initiative to establish the bank which now is stationed at the office of Gulmi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

A sub-committee has been formed to operate the bank.

Association’s General Secretary Tara Bhusal said the bank was set up to distribute warm clothes to the poor people who could not afford for this.

“Cash Rs 93,000 and some bundles of clothes have been so far collected in the bank”, Bhusal shared. RSS
