Chaudhary continues to maintain place in Forbes billionaires’ list

Binod ChaudharyKathmandu / March 10: The Forbes magazine published from the US has included Nepali industrialist Binod Chaudhary in the world billionaires list of 2016.

Chairman of the Chaudhary Group, owns the properties worth 1.1 billion US dollars (some Rs 110 billion). The list made public by the magazine on Wednesday said Chaudhary stands 577th among the world’s wealthy persons.

The 60-year old industrialist has extended Rs 220 million as assistance for the reconstruction of the houses and school buildings damaged by April 25 earthquake of 2015, the magazine added.

The first in the world wealthiest persons’ list is the US billionaire Bill Gates. RSS
