Discrimination in course of budget and plans formulation to be ended: Finance State Minister

Dadeldhura / March 11: Minister of State for Finance, Damodar Bhandari, has said that the discrimination toward the Far-western region in course of formulating budget and plans would be ended.

Bhandari, who has been taking responsibility of state minister for finance for the first time from the far-western development region, said that he would take initiatives to increase the budget for the region from 11 per cent and for the formulation of long-term plan.

At a news conference organised by Press Chautari here today, State Minister Bhandari, who arrived here to inaugurate the District Council of Dadeldhura, said that he would take initiatives to allocate budget after formulating multi-year plan for the overall economic, social and tourism development of province no 7.
