Preparations completed for SAARC Ministerial Meeting

SAARC SecretariatPokhara / March 13: The preparations for the 37th Session of the South Asian Association Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Council of Ministers to be held in Pokhara from Monday have been completed, said Shankar Prasad Koirala, the Regional Administrator of the Western Regional Administration Office.

Likewise, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Nepal Police Mingmar Lama also said that the entire security provisions for the foreign ministerial-level meeting have been arranged.

Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kaski, Hari Prasad Mainali, said that security situation has been kept in order if the distinguished guests attending the mini-SAARC summit wished to visit touristic sites in the lake city.

Likewise, a dummy preparation of the travel of the distinguished guests from Pokhara Airport to Pokhara Grand Hotel, the venue of the meeting, was exercised this morning.
