Committee directs govt. to take initiative to decrease air incidents

kastmandap-accident-1Kathmandu / March 13: The International Relations and Labour Committee has directed the government to immediately formulate an action plan on reduction of air accidents.

The Committee’s meeting on Sunday issued such directive in the wake of the airplane crash in the country.

The meeting also batted for the fact-based report from the probe committee formed regarding the investigation into the accident of Tara and Kasthamandap airplanes within the deadline.

Similarly, the air companies are suggested that they adopted weather forecasting technology as air incidents are found occurring especially in the hilly and mountainous areas owing to sudden change in weather.

The Committee also asked the government to take action against the office-bearers found guilty regarding irregularities in giving permission for flight. Investigation could be carried out with experts’ team, the Committee added. RSS
