World Newar Convention in Baltimore

Kathmandu / March 22: The 2nd World Newar Convention is taking place in Baltimore of the US from March 25 to 27 organized by World Newah Organization.
The Convention is expected to deliberate on the ancient language of Nepal Bhasa, culture and identity among Nepal’s contemporary issues.
A 30 – member delegation from Nepal comprising representatives from various political parties and organizations today left for the US to attend the convention. The delegation includes Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal Spokesperson, Rajaram Shrestha and World Newah Organization’s Nepal Chapter Chairman, Puskar Mathema.
A total of 400 representatives from Newar communities world over will participate in the convention, RPP Nepal Spokesperson Shrestha said. RSS
