Hindu, Muslim and Shikh guru play Holi together

Holi FestivalNepalgunj / Mar 23: Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation Dinesh Chandra Yadav has said that the festival of Holi that promotes social harmony, fraternity and reconciliation should be accepted by all with the same spirit.

Speaking at a programme ‘Holi gathering for social harmony and goodwill’ organized here Tuesday, Minister of State Yadav said every religion gives the message of humanity and the message should be put into practice.

Chief Judge at Appellate Court Nepalgunj, Bam Bahadur Shrestha, Chairperson of Appellate Bar Bal Bahadur Chand and Local Peace Committee Coordinator Tej Bikram Shahi said the Holi gathering event was an important milestone of social harmony.

On the occasion, Chief priest of the Bageswari temple Chandra Nath Yogi, Muslim guru Maulana Adbul Jabbar Manjari and Shikh guru Raju Singh Sardar played Holi together.

Similar events were also organized by the local Bhajan TV station, Nepal Press Union and Radio Krishnasar FM radio station. RSS
