Four more VDCs in Kailali to be declared fully immunization VDCs

Dhangadhi / March 26: Four more VDCs in Kailali district are to be declared as fully immunization VDCs.

A meeting of the District Immunization Coordination Committee held on Friday decided to declare Pratappur, Dhansingpur, Basauti and Gadariya VDCs as fully immunization VDCs.

The VDCs are going to be declared as the fully immunization VDCs after all health posts of concerned VDCs completed all process related to this.

Before this, Munuwa, Nigali, existing Geta and Shreepur and Janakinagar VDCs in the district have already been declared as fully immunization VDCs.

The government has a target to declare the country as fully immunized nation within 2017.

Immunization Supervisor Mohan Bahadur Singh said that 33,000 VDCs, 30 Municipalities and 16 districts in the country have already been declared as fully immunization zones. RSS
