Over 600,000 students to take this year’s SLC test

Office of the Controller of ExaminationsBhaktapur / March 27: A total of 615,553 students will sit for this year’s School Leaving Certificate or SLC examinations scheduled for March 31, said the Office of the Controller of Examinations at Sanothimi, Bhaktapur.

Out of them, 4,52,881 are from under regular category, while 1,59,417 are from the exempted category.

Likewise, 3,255 are appearing in the examinations under the technical category. Kathmandu will see around 35,000 students appearing for the test, the highest number while the lowest number of 69 will take the exam from Manang.

Altogether 1,443 exam centres have been designated across the country. Examinations Controller Krishna Prasad Kapri said that all preparations for the examinations have been completed and assured to hold the test perceived as ‘iron gate’ in a fair and peaceful manner. RSS
